Information Technology Incorporation (ITInc), in cooperation with Quality Standards Information Technology (QSIT), offers the new ESRI Certified GIS Professional Program.

Objectives
After completing this program, you should be able to:  

Represent digital maps, query, analyze and map spatial data geographically in
    addition to obtaining new results to help you in the decision making process.
Combine and analyze geographic data from different sources and formats, including
    various types of drawing, attribute databases, and images.
Improve the resources management of your organization.
Become an ESRI Certified GIS Specialist.

Description of the Program
This Program contains a number of certified ESRI courses. In addition, it covers
    basic information about GIS theories and related subjects.

All students receive hands-on software instruction, as well as copies of ESRI's
    courses books with exercises and training data.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive the ESRI
    Certificate in the courses they took. ESRI Certification Test (a take home exam)
    will be given to students to be answered and their answers will be marked by ESRI.

Students who succeed may get a job in QSIT or in ITInc.

Who should attend?
The course is ideal for college and university students and fresh graduates. It is
    also appropriate for anyone wishing to gain an understanding of GIS and become
    an ESRI Certified GIS Professional.

No prior knowledge of GIS is required, however, participants should be
    comfortable with using a computer and working in a Windows operating system

    
environment.

Instructors
Professionals with exposure in a variety of GIS software and applications constitute the instructors.
Enrollment

Overview
The program consists of 3 tracks (each for One month duration). There is an exam at the end of each track.
1-Foundation track
Course Description:
1. Introduction to GIS Concepts & Remote Sensing (7   Days)
2. Introduction to ArcGIS I & II (5   Days)
3. Introduction to Database Fundamentals & SQL/PL SQL (4   Days)
4. Mastering Microsoft Visual Basic (4   Days)

After completing this track successfully by passing an exam, students should choose 1 of these 2 tracks, of a 1-month duration, to specialize in:

2.1-Professional GIS Track

2. 3D Analyst (1 Day)
3. Creating & Managing Geodatabases (3 Days)
4. Geodatabases Design and Modeling using CASE Tools (4 Days)
5. Introduction to Programming ArcObjects with VBA (5 Days)
6. Advanced ArcObjects Component Development with VB (3 Days)
7. Programming MapObjects with Visual Basic (3 Days)

2.2-Web-based Track

1. Introduction to Web Development.  (2 Days)

3-Graduation Project
During this track,students would be divided into groups to implement a project to give them hands-on experience on the software products that they studied. After completing the project, it would be presented to a committee of senior GIS consultants in related fields to mark the project.
